PRESS RELEASE

OFFICEWATCH CALL REPORTING SELECTED FOR NAVAL SHIP USNS MEDGAR EVERS

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – June 13, 2010--Metropolis, a leading manufacturer of telemanagement software for the armed forces and government agencies, is pleased to announce that its OfficeWatch product has been selected by the United States Navy for use on its newest Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo/ammunition ship (T-AKE) USNS Medgar Evers . After passing rigorous testing by armed forces technology contractor, Ki Company, OfficeWatch was selected by the Navy for use on its fleet of carriers. In 2009, OfficeWatch was installed on the T-AKE USNS William McLean, as well as several supercarriers, including the USS George Washington and the newly-commissioned USS George HW Bush. “The ease of use for the sailors has been particularly nice. Training takes a lot less time than what our previous product took," states Kenny Hill, Contractor for Ki Company, who selected OfficeWatch for the carriers .

The Navy plans to install OfficeWatch on more T-AKE ships before the end of 2010. The Enterprise version of OfficeWatch was selected for the USNS Medgar Evers, which allows users access to the system from any PC with and Internet connection or from client PCs connected to the existing network. The Enterprise version also includes TrafficWatch, a graphical trunk analysis utility that provides in-depth information on trunk usage and inbound and outbound telephone traffic.

The ship is a T-AKE (designated T-AKE 13) and honors Medgar Evers, an African-American civil rights activist who was assassinated in 1976. The T-AKEs are 689 feet in length, displace approximately 42,000 tons and can reach a speed of 20 knots. As part of the Military Sealift Command’s (MSC) Naval Fleet Auxiliary Force, the T-AKEs are designated United States Naval Ship (USNS). Unlike their United States Ship (USS) counterparts, the T-AKEs are crewed by 124 civil service mariners working for MSC, as well as 11 sailors who provide supply coordination.
